The Old Guard of
White Plains is a social organization
that limits its membership to 200 retired business and professional men who
get together for fellowship, relaxation, mutual
edification and community assistance projects. Now in its 60th year, the Old
Guard has met every week since its founding on October 5, 1954.
Members are residents of Westchester County, New York and
contiguous counties. Applicants must be sponsored by a current member, be of
good moral character and retired or semi-retired. They are invited to join
without regard to race, creed, color or ethnicity. We believe that diversity
strengthens our organization, and our members are encouraged to sponsor
applicants with varying backgrounds.
